AUGUST 2007

Welcome...

…to the inaugural version of Meadowview Construction’s E-newsletter! Keeping in touch with friends and clients is a vital part of our business practice. Our clients tell us all the time of their desire to be kept informed of the new technological, design and product choices available to them. We like helping you make educated decisions about your home building and remodeling and hope you find this newsletter to be interesting, informative and—most of all—inspiring!

Why would a remodeling company go to all the effort of putting together a newsletter?

Here’s our thinking: It’s not just about the actual construction aspects. Meadowview first works closely with clients to learn what they want. From there, the construction phase is carried out in a timely and least disruptive manner as possible. This cooperative process allows relationships to develop and that is not something we take lightly. Thanks to email technology, we have an easy way to pass along to you some of the amazing amount of industry resources we have access to, and also to let you know what we’ve been up to.

So, that being said—Meadowview thanks you for being our client, and letting us into your homes and lives. We hope you look forward to hearing from us as much as we look forward to serving you.

Best to you,

Dave, Michele and the Meadowview Crew

New & Notable

As a remodeling contractor we receive a constant influx of the latest products and ideas for homes and there’s a lot of really cool stuff out there - the kinds of things that really get the “design juices” flowing. We would like to share with you some of the more inspiring, whimsical, utilitarian, or just feasts for the eyes. We will also share some of the more unique industry information that we’re privy to. If you have ideas for what you would like to see, be sure to drop us a note and let us know.

To get you started, check out these sites:

ProSun Kitchen & Bath: For a system that—no kidding—lets you tan as you shower.

ASKO: For energy-efficient laundry washers and dryers that can be “disguised” under panels that match your existing woodwork. Makes you want to get the laundry up out of the basement!

Ann Sacks: For exquisite decorative tiles and mosaics beyond those in most tile stores.

11 Years Already?

Meadowview is proud to announce that we have recently relocated our cabinet division to a new facility in Georgetown.

We completed the move in June.

What a difference! Our finish carpenters and cabinetmakers actually have room to work as productively as possible. They all did a fantastic job organizing the space to allow for efficient and effective work flow; the time saved on production is wonderful.

Meadowview’s shop is fully equipped to give clients truly custom cabinetry and woodworking. With cabinetmaking done in-house, communication between clients, designers and crew is a snap; any changes or corrections are easily dealt with.

Even though it’s called a “cabinet shop” it certainly doesn't mean you need to makeover an entire kitchen to use our services. Think of us when you need a single bookcase or built-in, an updated laundry or closet space, or new bathroom vanity. When it comes to custom work, we are pros and we can make anything just for you.

C’mon, get creative…we’re up to the challenge

Toolbox

From The Toolbox....

In construction or cabinetry, accuracy (plumb, square, or level) is a must. In the field, one of the tools we use to ensure accuracy and to make our job easier is the Robo Laser.

Each company van has a Robo laser on board and we use it for things like leveling decks, making sure that cabinets are hung level on the wall and windows are installed level. It has a remote control that the user can use to control the direction of the laser beam. It is self leveling so you don't need to worry about where you set it.

This is just one of the many tools Meadowview uses to produce the best results for our clients.
