LOCAL CONTRACTOR EARNS INDUSTRY EXCELLENCE AWARD

David West, owner of Georgetown’s Meadowview Construction LLC, was presented a Contractor of the Year (COTY) Award earlier this month for a kitchen remodel project in Wenham.

COTY awards are presented each year by the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) for projects that demonstrate remodeling excellence. NARI, an organization made up of remodeling contractors and related tradespeople, endeavors to acknowledge quality and integrity in order to raise the level of customer satisfaction in what is a notoriously uncertain industry.

The Wenham couple called David when their kitchen needed a major change. Meadowview started with a terrific design and transformed the space into a finely detailed kitchen with plenty of room and comfort to cook and entertain. David is thrilled to be an award recipient: “When it comes down to it, COTYs get awarded to jobs demonstrating outstanding quality and customer service, and that is what we promise at Meadowview. To be recognized for this is fantastic. They are highly sought-after awards, and the competition gets tougher every year.”

Once a project is submitted, NARI looks for problem-solving ability, innovation, and to see that the design’s objectives are fully met. The homeowners are contacted directly and asked details about their level of satisfaction with the entire remodeling process. Meadowview is dedicated to making that process as easy as possible for their clients. Proudly in business for 11 years now, David attributes the company’s success to the fact that “it’s still a small, home-based company with employees of outstanding talent. Over the past year we have made some small tweaks and some major changes, and ended up with a really strong team that comes through for all our clients, no matter how simple or elaborate the job is.”
