Meadowview Construction
was founded by David West in January of 1996 as a remodeling company
specializing in residential renovations, with a focus on upscale
kitchens, bath remodels and custom additions. He has over fifteen
years experience in the remodeling industry handling large and
small projects around the North Shore of Massachusetts. Experience
and knowledge gained from working with several well-known local
construction companies provided the necessary skills to successfully
guide his own company. Many clients have commented on the professionalism
of Meadowview's crews; Meadowview Construction demonstrates a
high level of success in selecting employees who reinforce David's
guiding principles, allowing the crews to fit together seamlessly.
From the beginning, David has thrived on the dynamic atmosphere
that residential remodeling offers. Professionally trained in
the field of Architectural Engineering at the Vermont Technical
Institute, David has retained his sensitivity to practical design
– and client‘s wishes – while being able to offer suggestions
to improve an existing design. This has allowed David to form
strong relationships with several local architects and, more importantly,
with the clients he serves. Remodeling one's home is, at the very
least, inconvenient. The mission of Meadowview Construction is
to bring respect, pride and professionalism back to an industry
with a poor reputation for customer satisfaction.
Meadowview Construction is a member of
the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) – the
only association dedicated exclusively to remodeling. NARI's primary
goal is to support professional excellence and craftsmanship by
holding educational seminars, peer support groups and hands-on
workshops.
A five-year member of a local Kiwanis chapter
provided David the chance to raise funds for local children's
charities, student scholarships, children's medical research and
taking part in building the Performing Arts Pavilion in Georgetown.
He is also a past member of the Georgetown Cultural Council, instrumental
in organizing the annual Georgetown Summer Concerts. Meadowview
Construction supports local children's athletic teams, and is
proudly a volunteer supporting the annual efforts of Rebuilding
Together/Christmas in April, a non-profit organization that rehabilitates
houses for low-income homeowners, mainly the elderly and disabled
who wish to remain living independently. We are also now supporting
the children's arts program at the North
Shore Music Theater every year by donating the construction
of a treehouse so they can auction it off and raise money for
their program. Lastly, this year we will become a major corporate
sponsor for the Neverland
Theatre which produces high quality shows with children and
adults.
David has also just recently become a Big
Brother. It is something that he has wanted to do for a while
and is excited to have finally found the time.
